Job Description:

We are sharing a specialised part-time consulting opportunity for experienced Hong Kong legal professionals with strong backgrounds in litigation, corporate or transactional work, legal document research, and high-quality structured documentation.

This role supports an exciting collaboration with a leading frontier AI research laboratory focused on building high-quality legal datasets for internal testing and external demonstrations of advanced AI systems.

Selected professionals will compile and organize publicly available legal documents in accordance with project guidelines, helping support advanced AI systems through accurate, complete, and clearly structured legal source collection. This opportunity is especially well-suited to lawyers with hands-on experience in Hong Kong legal practice who are familiar with local legal and regulatory document sources and can deliver high-quality work under structured requirements and short timelines.

Key Responsibilities

Professionals in this role may contribute to:

Legal Document Collection & Organization
Collect and organize publicly available legal documents based on defined project guidelines
Compile materials in a clear, accurate, and structured format
Help ensure that legal source materials are useful, complete, and aligned with project objectives

Source Verification & Quality Control
Verify sources and ensure all data is obtained from public, verifiable platforms
Maintain accuracy, completeness, and clarity across all compiled materials
Support strong quality standards through careful review and detail-oriented documentation

Structured Documentation & Project Coordination
Follow structured documentation processes to meet defined quality standards
Collaborate asynchronously with the project manager and meet deadlines
Deliver high-quality work independently within a time-sensitive project environment

Ideal Profile

Strong candidates may have:
Prior experience in litigation or corporate or transactional legal work in Hong Kong
Familiarity with Hong Kong legal and regulatory document sources
Excellent attention to detail and the ability to follow structured documentation requirements
Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage time effectively to meet deadlines
The ability to work independently and deliver high-quality work on short timelines

Preferred qualifications

Experience working directly with publicly available legal source materials and regulatory documentation
Strong legal research and source-verification habits
Ability to translate practical Hong Kong legal knowledge into structured, high-quality dataset support work
Comfort working within asynchronous, documentation-heavy project workflows
