We are sharing a specialised remote opportunity for experienced Accounting & Audit Experts to support a leading AI research lab in improving how advanced AI systems understand real-world accounting workflows, financial reporting, and audit processes.

This project focuses on applying professional accounting expertise to design domain-specific scenarios, review AI-generated outputs, and contribute insights that improve AI reasoning in financial reporting, auditing, tax compliance, and financial close workflows.

Key Responsibilities

Evaluate AI-generated accounting outputs for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with GAAP, IFRS, and relevant regulatory frameworks
Review AI-generated financial statements, disclosures, audit working papers, and management reports
Simulate and audit workflows related to financial close processes, reconciliations, tax filings, and internal controls
Identify gaps or inaccuracies in AI reasoning related to accounting workflows and financial reporting
Provide structured feedback to improve AI understanding of real-world accounting processes
Apply consistent evaluation frameworks to produce high-quality review outputs

Ideal Profile

Strong candidates may have:

2+ years of professional accounting or auditing experience
Experience working in public accounting firms (e.g., Big Four), corporate finance teams, or financial reporting roles
Strong knowledge of GAAP, IFRS, and financial reporting frameworks
Experience with financial close processes, reconciliations, and audit documentation
Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail
Excellent written communication with strong grammar and documentation skills

Nice to Have:

Professional certifications such as CPA, CA, CMA, or ACCA
Experience in tax compliance, financial consolidations, or internal controls
Background in forensic accounting, nonprofit accounting, government accounting, or cross-border accounting

Contract Details
