Job Description:

We are sharing a specialised full-time W-2 opportunity for experienced sourcing and supply chain professionals with strong backgrounds in vendor management, complex contract negotiation, data center equipment sourcing, and strategic supply chain operations.

This role supports an exciting opportunity through Cincinnatus LLC, an enterprise staffing company that partners with leading technology companies to place highly skilled professionals into full-time and long-term contingent roles.

Selected professionals will develop and manage strategic vendor partnerships for data center equipment, with a particular focus on robotics and automation technology. This role is especially well-suited to sourcing leaders with strong commercial judgment, deep supply chain expertise, and the ability to manage complex negotiations, should-cost models, supplier performance, and cross-functional execution across high-impact technical environments.

Key Responsibilities

Professionals in this role may contribute to:

Strategic Sourcing & Vendor Management
Develop and nurture strategic vendor relationships through effective relationship management, including supplier scorecards, regular business reviews, and collaboration against commercial and technical requirements
Drive supplier proposals through RFI and RFQ processes and support business awards
Maintain current knowledge of market and technology trends in data center equipment, robotics, and automation

Contract Negotiation & Commercial Leadership
Develop and execute negotiation strategies, acceptable terms and conditions, and lead negotiations through contract closure
Negotiate complex contracts including Master Purchase Agreements, Master Service Agreements, and Statements of Work
Resolve commercial and technical queries arising throughout the quote and award process

Cost Modeling, Metrics & Operational Execution
Own market and actual cost data, including development of should-cost models for data center equipment
Ensure business metrics are achieved across the end-to-end process from manufacturing through data center operation
Provide quarterly business review metrics to assess supply chain health and forward-looking risk
Define and drive core business metrics and risk indicators for continuous improvement

Cross-Functional Supply Chain Collaboration
Collaborate with teams across Manufacturing Quality, Strategic Engineering and Design, Global Site Sourcing, Data Center Facility Operations, Data Center Construction, and Connectivity
Drive critical supply assurance and capacity planning activities in partnership with Demand and Supply teams
Support forecasting, materials management, qualification, reliability management, and supply allocation across complex supply chain workflows

Ideal Profile

Strong candidates may have:
A BA/BS or equivalent with 3–5 years of supply chain experience
At least 5 years of Sourcing Management or Supply Chain Management experience in commercial sourcing roles
Proven analytical experience and the ability to guide teams to deliver results
Experience improving supplier performance through cost models and objective-based performance measures
Extensive experience in contracts and contract negotiations, including strategy development and agreement closure
Strong proficiency in robotics and automation, with a clear understanding of how supply chain processes integrate with robotics technology

Preferred qualifications

Experience with material or production planning
Experience with enterprise systems such as SAP, Oracle, and custom applications
Working knowledge of SQL and/or BI tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker for supplier scorecard development and maintenance
Experience negotiating software licensing models for robotics or AI, including per-robot, per-site, usage-based, and support or maintenance terms
Experience defining contract and supplier requirements for AI systems, including model performance metrics, validation methodology, rollback processes, telemetry, incident response, and data governance requirements
MS or MBA preferred
Strong experience in automation, robotics, and warehouse or logistics environments
