- Write or review expert-level prompts across specialized biology and life-science topics
- Evaluate model-generated responses for scientific accuracy, clarity, helpfulness, and appropriate handling of sensitive biological content
- Identify inaccurate explanations, unsupported claims, missing scientific context, or unsafe response patterns
- Review technical materials across fields such as molecular biology, microbiology, virology, genetics, biochemistry, bioinformatics, synthetic biology, or immunology
Scientific Annotation & Structured Review
- Apply structured guidelines to classify biology prompts, conversations, and model responses
- Annotate technical content based on scientific accuracy, safety considerations, and project-specific review criteria
- Provide clear written feedback explaining evaluation decisions and relevant scientific concerns
- Maintain consistency, precision, and professional judgment across submitted review work
Biosafety & Responsible Content Assessment
- Apply sound judgment around biosafety, biosecurity, and responsible handling of dual-use life-science information
- Evaluate whether biology-related responses appropriately manage sensitive, hazardous, or safety-relevant content
- Support review of materials involving laboratory concepts, computational biology, pathogen biology, genetic reasoning, or specialized technical topics
- Maintain a careful, safety-aware approach when reviewing scientific content and response quality
Ideal Profile
Strong candidates may have:
- A completed or ongoing PhD in biology or a closely related life-science field
- Deep expertise in one or more areas such as molecular biology, microbiology, virology, genetics, biochemistry, bioinformatics, synthetic biology, or immunology
- Relevant background in modern laboratory techniques, computational methods, biological research, or technical life-science review
- Strong scientific reasoning and excellent written communication skills in English
- Sound judgment around biosafety, biosecurity, and responsible handling of sensitive biological information
- Ability to follow structured guidelines and apply consistent evaluation criteria
